You know by eleven in the morning. A small rub between two toes, then a hot spot, then the only thing you can think about between the car and the front door.
So the wardrobe has quietly narrowed. The navy pair and the beige pair. Everything else is in the box at the bottom, kept for a day that keeps not arriving.
What most people are already doing
A plaster on the toe that peels off by lunchtime. A pack of foam spacers from the chemist that flattened in a fortnight. Buying a half size up and hoping.
What changed
The Toe Comfort Kit is four soft gel spacers and two cushioned knit sleeves in a small pouch. The spacers give crowded toes a little room, the sleeves cushion the spot that rubs, and both are thin enough for an ordinary shoe. Rinse them under the tap at night.
